These refurbished rooms feature commissioned artworks and recycled materials including pure wool blankets, industrial light fittings, and hand crafted bathroom products. What was the highlight of Sherwood
Consistently good
Often stay here and the standard is always good. Love the vibe at the Sherwood, relaxed, thoughtful, very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Location is great, easy 30min walk to town and very close to local bus services. Free onsite parking and excellent wi-fi. The restaurant is an absolute favourite, and the property often has good local events scheduled. Enjoy and frequently use the yoga classes and on-site sauna.
Have had to followup with housekeeping a few times during the last couple of stays, just minor things like the room very much needing a vacuum after multiple days, towels being taken but not replaced. Promptly addressed when brought to their attention - thank you - just feels a bit awkward having to ask.

Wonderful
Nice view but no sun. I love the restaurant area and feel of the whole place. Location excellent and staff amazing.

What was the highlight of Sherwood
Comfortable stay in convenient location
Great atmosphere and ethos, room and bed were comfortable and parking was easy. Very useful location (with a car) so we could drive into town but also rest in a nice quiet setting away from the main stretch.
Shower/sink wasn't great but comfortable enough. Walls aren't very thick so could hear neighbours, but thankfully they weren't too loud.

The bed in the left hand side jn room 43 sank in the middle and now I have bad back. Don’t like the bathrooms -
